Grow Moore: Annual Grower’s Day
We’d like to pass our plants along to you!
Tuesday, June 13, 2017
9:30 am to 2:00 pm
Here at Moore Farms Botanical Garden, we believe in pass along plants and the old Southern style of garden sharing. We have an extensive collection ranging from annual bedding plants to ornamental trees that we would love to share with you. Supporting our local growers is very important to us, so come spend the day with our staff on Tuesday, June 13th from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Each staff member will take a group through the garden to collect seeds and cuttings. After the collecting is completed, lunch is on us!
Make sure you bring your pruners, Ziplocs and ice coolers to collect propagules for your greenhouse or nursery. We will show you what performs the best for us and discuss why it may not currently be common in the industry. And remember, all seeds, starts and cuttings from the garden are free!!
This event is limited to professionals only. We encourage other interested parties to visit our website for other opportunities. Registration is free, but please register early as space is limited. To register and for more information, contact Rebecca Turk at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include Grower’s Day in the subject line. We look forward to your visit!
