Did you know fire can be a good thing? Did you know some plants love it? It’s all true! There are many benefits to burning habitats that you may not realize. Come learn what’s “hot” on this subject from Robert Davidson, MFBG’s Certified Prescribed Fire Manager. He’ll cover the history, benefits, suitable habitats, safety and plants that do best in prescribed burns. The relationship between wildlife and fire will also be discussed.
Join us on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. Robert is full of knowledge and energy so you don’t want to miss this! If you have any special needs for the class, contact Rebecca Turk.
