Conifers of the Southeast
Thursday, October 8, 2020
10 AM – Noon
Cost: $15 per person
Often thought of as plants best-suited to cold climes, the rich textures and subtle colors of conifers can also be enjoyed in the Southeast. Bradley Roberts, MFBG Lake City Horticulture Supervisor, will talk about how to successfully grow conifers south of the Mason-Dixon Line – it’s a matter of choosing the right varieties and providing suitable growing conditions. Once planted, conifers require very little maintenance. Attendees will also get a list of conifers hardy to this area with many easy to find.
This class will take place both indoors and out, so dress accordingly.
