Cooking with Kids
Saturday, October 24, 2020
10 AM – Noon
Cost: $15 per person
Including children in meal preparation provides a host of benefits: It discourages “picky eating” by engaging all the senses; vocabulary, nutrition and math concepts naturally unfold; and it helps cooking become part of your family’s culture and traditions. This class will cover all that and more, including general kitchen safety and age-appropriate kitchen tasks. Attendees will prepare several veggie-forward dishes during the class to taste. Adults will feel more comfortable letting kids become more independent in the kitchen.
