Pollinators have been declining all over the world. North America’s honeybees, native wild bees, butterflies, moths, hummingbirds, and bats have been threatened by the increasing loss of habitat and the use of pesticides. MFBG resident Beekeeper Laura Del Vecchio will offer suggestions on how we can help native pollinators by using native plants, avoiding the use of pesticides, and developing viable corridors of a pollinator’s habitat within communities.
