Rainwater is a free source of water that often goes unappreciated and even wasted!
You can use rainwater to water house plants, supplement landscape irrigation, and even wash your car. Rain barrels can make rainwater harvesting easy and affordable.
Join Clemson Extension Water Resource Agent Tancey Belken on August 13 to learn how rain barrels reduce storm water pollution and even construct a rain barrel to take home. No gutter, no problem! The barrel you make in this class does not require a gutter or downspout to use.
All the materials to assemble your rain barrel will be supplied, including a spigot, mosquito screen, and overflow hose.
