Planted in partial shade. My favorite attribute of this deciduous shrub is its wonderfully showy autumn display, which has hues of yellow, orange, red and purple.
Seems to be doing well in this location. It suffered no damage during the ice storm. Hoping to see it bloom.
Further along than the one plant in X-01. Multiple blooms are present. It should flower in the next few days.
In flower on 4/7/14.
Gorgeous bottlebrush flowers have persisted for two weeks as of 4/16/14.

This is a high graft standard, perhaps 4’ tall. Very nice. A little die back before planting.
Slowly losing its leaves. Two small branches have started pushing out new growth. This is a unique and interesting style for this plant. I’m personally not a fan of it.
Has begun showing it’s fall color. A nice bright red that can be seen across the way.
A beautiful specimen that never became established.
