Let’s take a walk

Join our staff on an enjoyable and information packed stroll through the garden. Guided visits to the green roof and living wall, complete with an up close view on an elevated catwalk, are also included. Tours are the perfect option if your group is looking for a more personalized and thorough interpretation of the garden, as you’ll gain unique insight into design concepts, plant identification, gardening techniques, the history of the site and more.

Tours last a maximum of two hours and are by appointment only. Remember, appointments for tours will only be accepted for groups of 6 or more. If you do not meet the group size requirement, then consider attending one of the events or our educational classes. To provide a more intimate experience, groups of 25 or more will be divided and guided separately. Since many of the garden pathways are turf, please be prepared for easy, but extensive walking. The screened in porch overlooking the Fire Tower Gardens is a great place to end a tour with lunch. This porch holds 18 people comfortably and costs $25 to rent. A list of caterers can be provided if requested.

We ask that you make your inquiry no later than two weeks in advance of the requested tour date. Tours are subject to availability and we reserve the right to cancel tours for any reason. No weekend tours are offered at this time.

Cost:  $10 per person

To schedule a tour, contact Leigh Collins at lcollins@moorefarmsbg.org or by phone at (843) 210-7592.
