Coralia

Coralia is part of an ongoing series of similar works. Inspired by the aggregation of individuals that compose CORAL reefs, these works change in size and numbers through the years. Like living organisms, they are made of cells, here loosely represented by the wood clothespins, connected and displaying variations in form and colors, growing in their own Biomorphic way. Coralia is part of a larger body of works (sculptures, paintings and drawings) titled Specious Morphology, inspired by respectful reinterpretations of nature's vast designs and adaptations.
