Curious about Citrus? Join Stan McKenzie, owner of McKenzie Farms & Nursery, in learning all things citrus! Participants will gain knowledge both in ground and container citrus cultivation. Plan on learning grafting, necessities for citrus health, and best growing practices. Participants will also leave with a propagation of one of Stan’s citrus trees!
McKenzie Farms & Nursery has been growing citrus, rare plants, and vegetables since the mid-1960s. They grow, graft, and ship over 50 varieties of citrus trees all over the USA. Many of the varieties being rare or specialized cultivars from all over the world! These cultivars include cold hardy citrus that can be grown in ground here in zone 8A!
Although we are not open to the public on a daily basis, you can view our dynamic, breathtaking property through tours, events, or by taking one of our camps or classes.
