The City of Lake City, in partnership with the South Carolina Forestry Commission and Moore Farms Botanical Garden, is excited to announce a Free Tree Giveaway! Through a grant from the Forestry Commission and support from the Green Infrastructure group, residents within the City of Lake City can receive free trees to enhance our community’s beauty and sustainability.

Event Details:

• Date: Friday, January 31, 2025
• Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Location: The Village Green, Henry Street, Lake City, SC 29560

Important Information:

• You must be a resident of the City of Lake City to reserve a tree.
• Reserved trees must be picked up by 1:00 PM. After this time, unclaimed trees will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until 2:00 PM.
• All trees must be picked up on the day of the giveaway.
