Experience the rich history of Sweetgrass Basket weaving with expert Jennifaye Kimberly Wright Singleton. Enjoy a lecture on Gullah Geechee culture and the art of basket making, followed by a hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own unique basket using sweetgrass, pine needles, bullrush, and palmetto leaves.
