Moore Farms Botanical Garden has partnered with the City of Lake City and the Green Infrastructure Center, Inc. (GIC) to obtain data on the community's tree canopy, creation of maps, and has been assisting in the review of ordinances. Together, we've devised a plan for Lake City and want to hear YOUR thoughts during our "Trees4SC Open House" event on October 24th!
We encourage the public to join us as we unveil our findings and plans through our unique partnership. There, guests can look forward to seeing community maps, hear plans for the community forest, and provide feedback and input on where trees should be planted. Better yet, guests can try their luck in entering our FREE tree raffle and enjoy FREE food and refreshments!
